How to Choose a Glass Shop
There are 5 questions you should ask every auto glass shop BEFORE you trust them with your vehicle.
1 – What is my minimum airbag safe drive-away time?
This is the amount of time the manufacturers of windshield urethane (“glue”) say it must dry/cure to ensure your airbags will safely deploy and protect you. Most glues are 6-hour, 4-hour, 2-hour or 1-hour.
Fix-A-Crack uses 1-hour minimum drive-away urethane and has 30-minute glue available when you are in a hurry and express services.
2 – Do you accept my insurance & will you help me process my claim?
Fix-A-Crack is proud to work with USAA, Farmers, Geico, Allstate, Nationwide, Ameriprise, Progressive, State Farm and close to 70 other insurance companies across the U.S.A. Our expert team will help you contact your insurance company with you on the line and Protect Yourself.
3 – Are you a Member, or have you been a member of the Auto Glass Safety Council (AGSC)?
In order to be a member of the Auto Glass Safety Council, an auto glass shop submits to a rigorous examination of safe procedures, standards and continuing education training along with surprise audits of all their staff.
Fix-A-Crack was a fully approved and registered shop through 10/06/2020 with the only AGSC Master Certification in the Entire Rio Grande Valley.
4 – Are ALL your technicians trained AND manufacturer certified in windshield urethane?
